Shannon Timmons

Shannon Timmons is a Full Professor of Chemistry and Chair of the Department of Natural Sciences at Lawrence Technological University, where tenure began in August 2008. With a solid academic trajectory, Shannon has held positions as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral Instructor of Biochemistry at the same institution. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2007 to August 2008 and a Research Associate at BioMedica Diagnostics, Inc. in 2001. Shannon earned a PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from Dalhousie University (2002-2007) and a BSc in Chemistry from Acadia University (1998-2002).
