Nestor Vicente Perez is a Clean Energy Attorney at Lawyers For Good Government, coordinating legal guidance for clean energy projects focused on federal tax incentives and funding opportunities since January 2024. Previously, as an Associate Attorney at Earthjustice, Nestor litigated to facilitate Miami's transition to Zero Waste and filed a civil rights complaint with the EPA. Nestor has also served as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Greater Miami, where representation of tenant rights was a primary focus, and as a Junior Attorney at the Florida Department of Children and Families, advocating for children's interests. Early experiences include internships in immigration advocacy and municipal law, along with research assistant roles in political science. Nestor holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, an MA in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes, and a BA, Magna Cum Laude, in International Relations from Florida International University.
