Mesale Solomon-Mendes serves as Chief People Officer and is responsible for leading all aspects of the people strategy, talent acquisition, talent development, total reward, and culture development. Joining the Lazer family in December 2021, she quickly assessed and renovated the People function, culture, and impact of the function across the Company to support the business strategies. She works to accelerate Lazer Logistics’ transformation through talent differentiated performance.
Before joining Lazer Logistics, Mesale served as Global Chief Human Resources Officer in the insurance industry. In this role she was responsible for all human resources-related functions in over 30 countries. She transformed the organization’s HR structure to be able to drive large scale change in the areas of organization design and strengthen employee engagement and leadership development.
Mesale earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University and a Master of Public Administration in Human Resources Management from Clark Atlanta University. She earned her Six Sigma Greenbelt at Ford Motor Company where she also participated in its Human Resources Fast Track program from 1998 through 2001.
