Sean Rowe joined the LBA corporate team in 2020, but he’s no stranger to the world of hospitality or LBA. Sean brings over 20 years of industry experience, passion, and knowledge to the LBA team. Not only did he earn his Hospitality Management degree from East Carolina University, but Sean has also honed his skillset through internships and management roles at multiple Marriott brands. Sean’s LBA career started in 2014 when he served as the opening General Manager of the Courtyard Summerville, SC. By 2016, under Sean’s leadership, the hotel earned the prestigious title of Courtyard of the Year from Marriott International and the Hotel of the Year award from LBA Hospitality. Sean then moved to Orlando to open and operate the Residence Inn Universal near Orlando until his promotion to the Regional Director of Operations position in August of 2020.
Sean works and lives by a basic principle; keep it simple. His keen ability to identify strengths both in himself and others has helped him build top-performing teams that thrive as a cohesive and successful unit. As the Regional Director of Operations, he strives to foster a fun and positive work environment for the teams he supports every day. Sean sets high expectations for his teams to exceed the guest’s and owner’s expectations. He coaches and motivates his teams to maximize top and bottom-line revenues while implementing strategies that ensure guest satisfaction and creates accountability. His goal is to foster a team environment where the priority is caring.
Sean’s success in life started long before his career in hospitality. In high school, he was a member of the North Carolina State High School championship basketball team. Sports is something he is passing down to his children; he and his wife spend their weekends watching their two sons play baseball and their daughter loves to cheer on her big brothers. In his free time, you will also find Sean enjoying outdoor activities and traveling with his family.
