Sarkis Semaan has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media industry. Sarkis started their career at Abu Dhabi Media Company in 2008, where they held various roles such as Deputy Executive Director of Broadcast - Technology and Operations, Director of Digital Media - Broadcast Group, and Advisor - Executive Director TV and Radio. In these roles, they played a key role in the strategic planning, launch, and management of multiple broadcasting projects and channels. Their responsibilities included managing a Pay-TV platform, overseeing the restructuring of departments to increase efficiency, establishing cost controls, and enhancing revenue through facility rentals.

Sarkis later joined Kearney in 2017 as a Broadcast and Media Production Expert, followed by a position as a Broadcast Operations Expert at Deloitte in 2018. In 2019, they worked as an Industry Consultant at Strategy&, where they conducted a study on the media infrastructure in KSA and provided input on a new consolidated mega project in the media industry.

In 2012, Sarkis Semaan co-founded Sync Media, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer until 2019. During their time at Sync Media, they played a crucial role in the company's operations and growth.

Most recently, Semaan worked as Director of Operations and Technology and Commercial Director at LBCI, starting in 2016. In their role as Director of Operations and Technology, they managed the production of in-house, coproduced, and outsourced shows, scouted and recruited talent, and ensured quality control of creative aspects. As a Commercial Director, they developed and implemented commercial strategies, conducted market research and analysis, and created detailed business plans.
