Amy Pruim has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2021. Amy began their career as a Research and Evaluation Coordinator at the Louisiana Public Health Institute in 2015. In 2016, Amy worked as an Analyst for a self-employed contracting job. Amy then joined the Louisiana Primary Care Association in 2017, where they were a Data Analyst and later became a Program Manager for Research & Analytics. During their time there, Amy presented at conferences, represented Louisiana in a national rural health learning collaborative, and participated in a train the trainer academy for community health centers.
In 2019, Amy transitioned to LCMC Health, where they held multiple roles. Amy started as a Project Manager in Strategy & Business Development, where they served as a CMS liaison and conducted market analysis. Later, they became the Director of Population Health Operations and led value-based care quality improvement projects, resulting in significant incentive payments. Amy also directed a wholly-owned subsidiary focused on accountable care.
Amy Pruim obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from St. John's University in 2013. Amy then went on to earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Tulane University from 2013 to 2015. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Analytics from Louisiana State University. Amy Pruim furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Loyola University New Orleans from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in April 2018.
