John Brissette, RPh, AAHIVP has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. John started their career at CVS Health in 1996 as a Pharmacy Manager and worked there until 2001. John then joined Fishman Bond Drugs as an Operations Manager from 2001 to 2010. After that, they worked at Duane Reade as a Pharmacy Manager and later as an MTM Lead/Immunization Trainer from 2010 to 2017. In 2016, they briefly worked at Walgreens as an HIV/Virology Clinical Lead. In 2017, they became self-employed as a Pharmacist before joining Ochsner Health as a Clinical Pharmacist from 2017 to 2020. Currently, since 2020, they are working at LCMC Health, first as a Senior Clinical Analyst and now as the Application Team Lead.

John Brissette, RPh, AAHIVP obtained their Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1990 to 1996. John has additional certifications including HIV Expert™ from the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and AAHIVP from AAHIVM. John has also completed certifications in Veterinary Pharmacy from Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ (PTCE), Diabetes Disease State Management from APhA Foundation, EPIC Beacon, EPIC Willow Ambulatory, EPIC Willow Inpatient, Immunization Trainer from APhA Foundation, Medication Therapy Management from APhA Foundation, and Travel Health for Pharmacy from Walgreens University.
