Al-Hussain Ali Yusuf

Al-Hussain Ali Yusuf is an accomplished leader and advocate in climate action, currently serving as the Founder and Executive Director of Climate Vanguards Initiative since July 2023. In addition to this role, Al-Hussain is the President of the Climate Students Movement Nigeria at the University of Maiduguri and a Communications Assistant at YOUNGO, the youth constituency of the UNFCCC. As a Millennium Fellow with United Nations Academic Impact, Al-Hussain demonstrates a commitment to civic leadership and engagement in global climate conversations, actively participating as an AYM4COP Delegate. Al-Hussain is also a Chief Executive Officer at Al-Hussain Nigeria Limited and a Graphic Design Specialist at The Scoop Storytelling Initiative, while contributing as Project Director for the University of Maiduguri Conservation Club. Educationally, Al-Hussain holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Maiduguri and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Indira Gandhi National Open University.
