Dowha Karar is an experienced professional with a diverse background in healthcare, education, and research. Currently serving as a Career Fellow at Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America since August 2018, Dowha has previously worked as a Medical Assistant at Arlington Dermatology and conducted toxicology research as a Biology Research Fellow at the University of Richmond, focusing on woodsmoke and macrophages. Dowha held leadership positions, including Chair of Academic Affairs with the Westhampton College Government Association, and contributed to legislative initiatives aimed at enhancing student experiences at the University of Richmond. Additional experience includes serving as an Arabic Translator at CrossOver Healthcare Ministry and working as a Teacher Assistant Intern at Bailey's Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences. Dowha holds degrees from the University of Richmond and the School for International Training, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Justice High School.
