Isaac Thiessen

Isaac Thiessen has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Isaac is currently working as a Software Engineer at Leadpages since December 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Software Engineer at Rooof from August 2020 to December 2021. Isaac also worked as a Software Developer at Natural Resources Canada | Ressources naturelles Canada from September 2019 to April 2020, where they contributed to modernizing the software infrastructure through projects such as rebuilding the backend for the authentication system and building a Kubernetes cluster.

Isaac has also gained experience as a Tutor and Student at Camosun College from September 2017 to September 2019. In addition, they took on the role of Lead Programmer for the Infinity Security Capstone Project for BC Gov from January 2019 to June 2019, where they developed a security scanner API using various security tools.

Furthermore, Isaac worked as a Till Technician at Shambhala Music Festival in July and August 2018, where they managed iPads for POS sales platforms and handled inventory management. Isaac also addressed technical issues related to WiFi, Bluetooth, and Moneris Pinpad connectivity.

Lastly, Isaac has worked at Microserve in multiple roles. Isaac served as a Team Lead from November 2016 to January 2017 and as a Deployment Technician from May 2016 to November 2016.

Isaac Thiessen attended Camosun College from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they attended Selkirk College and completed a degree in Process Operator. In addition to their formal education, Isaac also earned certifications in "Foundations of Servers" from Lynda.com in February 2017 and a certification in Process Operator from Selkirk College. However, the specific month and year of obtaining the Process Operator certification are unknown.
