Charles Smithers has extensive experience in management and marketing across various sectors. Currently serving as the District Event Marketing Manager at Leaf Home since February 2022, Charles also holds the position of Area Field Manager at Uhaul Moving and Storage since January 2021. Additional roles include Brand Regional Sales Manager at Helados La Tapatia, Retail and Restaurant Management at People Developer, and Operations Manager at Developing Leaders, all since March 2020. Charles has a long-standing background in operations, exemplified by the role of General Manager and Fire Marshal at Firehouse Subs, which began in December 2013, and previous positions at Broadbase Inc. as Regional Manager, at Chipotle Mexican Grill as General Manager, and at Starbucks as General Manager. Charles’s career in fast food operations began with a General Manager position at McDonald's Corporation from June 1991 to September 2004. Educationally, Charles is an alumnus of San Jose State University, having graduated between 1991 and 1995.
