Jim Benson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, education, and technology. As the Founding Partner of Modus Institute since July 2014, Jim has focused on modern management strategies for 21st-century business and workers. In addition to this role, Jim serves as CEO of Modus Cooperandi, where efforts center on Lean principles and agile management to enhance communication and collaboration among professionals globally. Jim also contributes as Senior Faculty at the Lean Enterprise Institute, teaching Lean Concepts, and operates as the author of Personal Kanban, applying Lean tools to individual time management. With a background that includes founding Gray Hill Solutions, serving as an advisor to various startups, and holding significant roles at organizations such as Cooperation Commons and Metro, Jim brings a rich expertise in systems thinking and business development. Academic credentials include a post-graduate degree from 明海大学 and a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
