Mike Kaufman

Mike Kaufman has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2016, they founded Kaufman Consulting, Inc., where they serve as the CEO and Founder. In this position, they provide coaching and guidance to executives in order to foster innovation and create meaningful connections. Mike also drives change through coaching and workshops.

From 2017 to 2019, Mike worked at Sun Life Financial as the Director of Agile Transformation and Coach. Mike played a crucial role in promoting Agile methodologies within the company. Mike trained employees and provided ongoing coaching to agile teams. Additionally, they coached business Product Owners on business agility and improved inter-team dynamics.

Prior to that, Mike worked at EMC, starting in 2004. During their tenure at EMC, they held various roles including Agile Coach & Evangelist, ScrumMaster, Engineering Program Manager, SW QA Manager, and Sr. Software Engineer.

Mike Kaufman has a Master's degree in IT Management from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, cum laude, from Kent State University. Mike also has several additional certifications, including Qualified Mediator (Q.Med.) from the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC)/ Institut d'arbitrage et de médiation du Canada (IAMC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation, GENOS Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner from Genos International, ICP-CAT from ICAgile, Dare to Lead Trained from Dare to Lead™ Trained, ORSCC from CRR Global, ICP-ENT from ICAgile, ICP-ATF from ICAgile, CSP from Scrum Alliance, CSPO from Scrum Alliance, ICAgile Certified Professional from ICAgile, ICP-ACC from ICAgile, CSM from Scrum Alliance, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the Six Sigma Management Institute by Dr. Mikel J.
