Director Technical Support at Leanplum

Atanas Valchev has a wealth of experience in technical support. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer for Telerik, where they consulted customers on implementation, troubleshooting and deployment of their business applications implemented on the Sitefinity CMS platform. Atanas then moved up to become a Principal Technical Support Engineer, working closely with the biggest customers, helping them resolve complex technical issues and conveying their feedback and product requests to the product team. In 2016, they joined Leanplum as a Technical Support Engineer, becoming an expert in the Leanplum Platform both from a technical and product perspective. Atanas then progressed to Technical Support Manager, developing and improving standard operating procedures, performance metrics, and feedback mechanisms to enable the Technical Support team to continue to scale and be successful. Atanas was then promoted to Senior Technical Support Manager, where they reported directly to the VP of Product Development and implemented processes and scheduled to provide coverage for multiple spread time zones from one location. Lastly, they were promoted to Director Technical Support, adding further processes to facilitate growth and personal development of Technical Support Engineers.

Atanas Valchev received their Bachelor in English from the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski" from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they studied German at the English Language School "Plovdiv" from 2002 to 2007.
