LEARFIELD Amplify is a local, dedicated entity representing the Oakland Roots Soccer Club. In complete collaboration with the Soccer Club, this team is committed through first class professionalism to building top notch customer sales and service relationships extending the affinity of the Soccer Cub's brand to fans, donors, alumni, businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base. As the exclusive outbound arm for the Soccer Club, the ticket sales team manages many of the sales efforts for ticketed sports. As a member of the team, we provide fans, partners, businesses, and constituents of the Soccer Club with the outreach and access to all ticket types, including season, partial, and group tickets, and ultimately providing experiences to grow involvement and revenue generation across the board while integrating fully within the department and the community. 

LEARFIELD Amplify is actively seeking a Senior Manager, Premium Sales to work for the Oakland Roots Soccer Club sales team. The Senior Manager, Premium Sales is responsible for developing and implementing a proactive premium sales and retention approach to achieve goals set by management. The Senior Manager, Premium Sales will manage the sales and service activities related to premium season tickets, premium partial plans, and premium group tickets.

Responsibilities 

  • Support the planning of new sales and retention strategies for all premium seating areas
  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new leads to generate sales
  • Collaborate with Development, Marketing, MMR and others in administration to identify prospects and retention priorities
  • Develop and maintain a personal client base of premium ticket buyer prospects and customers
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell premium season tickets, partial plans, and group ticket plans
  • Work closely with Director of Ticket Sales & Service and to identify leads and digital marketing campaigns
  • Utilize national best practices to streamline sales processes and maximize results
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Director of Ticket Sales & Service

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or business field
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in premium sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
  • Experience in college athletics development preferred
  • Experience with Paciolan and Salesforce preferred
  • Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing

Pay Transparency

The approximate base pay range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
