Lloyd Hopkins has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2001, they started their career as a Recreation Programmer at the City of Glendale AZ, where they managed swim programs and oversaw the operations of the aquatic facility. From 2007 to 2013, Lloyd served as a Regional Director at Communities In Schools, where they developed strategic plans and identified opportunities for business development. In 2013, they joined the Maricopa County Education Service Agency as a Transition Facilitator, where they worked with high-risk youth involved in the corrections system to help them achieve positive change and engage with their community. In 2016, Lloyd founded the Million Dollar Teacher Project (MDTP), an organization focused on elevating the teaching profession through increased compensation, support, and recognition. Lloyd also served as the Executive Director of MDTP and played a crucial role in highlighting the importance of teachers in student success.
