Michael Smietana

Michael Smietana has held various roles in the technology and research industries since 2000. Michael began their career as a Statistics specialist and research assistant at the National Institute for Psychosocial Medicine (IPM), Karolinska Institutet (KI) in Stockholm in 2000. Michael then moved on to Northern Parklife AB in 2000, where they held the roles of Quality Assurance Manager and Project Manager. In 2005, they joined Avocent as a Sales Engineer. From 2007 to 2018, they served as CTO Cogmed Systems / COO Cogmed Stockholm Office at Cogmed Systems AB. Most recently, they have been the CTO at Learnster since 2018.

Michael Smietana obtained a Bachelor degree in Psychology (work and stress psychology) from Stockholm University between 1998 and 2000. Michael also attended Uppsala University from 1995 to 1996.
