Gillian Bruton

Gillian Bruton has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gillian began their career as a Customer Advisor at Home Retail Group PLC in 2005, where they worked until 2009. From 2009 to 2013, Gillian worked as an Audit Senior at BDO Ireland, gaining experience in statutory audits, group reporting, and financial statements preparation for clients in various sectors. Following this, they joined Carphone Warehouse as a Group Reporting Accountant, responsible for collecting and analyzing month-end submissions across European markets. In 2014, Gillian joined eir Ireland as a Finance Analyst and later became a Finance Business Partner, working until 2018. Since 2019, they have been at LearnUpon, first as an Accountant, then as a Finance and Accounting Manager, and currently holds the position of Finance and Accounting Senior Manager.

Gillian Bruton began their education in 2006 at Maynooth University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance. Gillian successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2009.

Following their undergraduate studies, Gillian enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2009. Over the course of four years, from 2009 to 2013, they diligently worked towards and achieved the qualification of an ACA, becoming fully qualified in their field of study.
