Barbara H.

Barbara H. is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in instructional support and administrative roles. Currently serving as Assistant Principal and MTSS Specialist K-12 at Leavenworth USD 453 since July 2021, Barbara previously held the position of Instructional Impact Coach at Fort Leavenworth USD 207 from July 2018 to June 2021. Barbara's earlier experience includes five years as an MTSS Facilitator and Instructional Coach at Wichita Public Schools - USD259, along with a period as an Adjunct Instructor at Newman University. Barbara also served as a Teacher Leader in the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools USD 500 from July 2004 to June 2013. Educational qualifications include a Building Leadership Licensure from Newman University, a Master’s Degree in English as a Second Language from MidAmerica Nazarene University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University.
