Wendy Spence, SHRM-CP has over 28 years of experience in human resources. Wendy is currently working as an HR and Benefits Manager at LeChase Construction, where they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at McAlpin Industries for 12 years as a Human Resource Manager, overseeing all HR functions and strategic initiatives. Wendy implemented ERP HR Module and ADP payroll and HRIS software, resulting in improved data accuracy and efficiency. Before that, they worked as a Human Resource Generalist at Firth Rixson and as a Human Resource Specialist at Essex Partners Inc. Wendy also served as a Benefits Analyst/HR Generalist at ALSTOM Signaling Inc. and started their career as a Human Resource Assistant at ROW Corporation. Throughout their career, Wendy has gained experience in recruitment, employee onboarding, safety training, performance management, labor relations, benefit administration, and payroll processing.
Wendy Spence, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelors in Business Administration from SUNY Brockport from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, they also completed their Associates in Business Administration from Monroe Community College between 1988 and 1990. In addition to their academic qualifications, Wendy Spence obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2021.
