Alison Ke

Data Scientist at Ledger Investing

Alison Ke has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Alison began as a Student Scientist at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2012. In 2014, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher and Mathematics Tutor at the University of California, Berkeley. During the same year, they also became a Project Coordinator and Treasurer at the Alliance to Save Energy. In 2015, Alison worked as a Mathematics Tutor at The MasterCard Foundation.

In 2017, they joined the University of California, Davis as a Ph.D. Candidate. During their time there, they co-authored 12 publications, with a particular focus on studying the impact of climate change and land-use change on bird communities. Alison independently designed and executed projects in South American rainforests and analyzed a significant database of bird nesting attempts across the US. Alison developed models to understand behavioral patterns in birds and their response to environmental changes.

In 2022, they became a Data Science Fellow at Correlation One, and in 2023, they joined Ledger Investing as a Data Scientist.

Alison Ke's education history begins with their attendance at Germantown Academy from 2001 to 2013. Alison then furthered their studies at the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued Statistics, Forestry, and Natural Resources. Most recently, Alison attended the University of California, Davis from 2017 to 2022, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ecology.
