Brayden Tang has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they began working as an Actuarial Analyst for Saskatchewan Government Insurance. During their time there, they used predictive models to price insurance premiums, resulting in an average premium reduction of 4% for all vehicle owners in Saskatchewan. Brayden also improved the estimation of recovery rates for severely injured customers by 10%, reducing incurred claim amounts by 20%. In 2016, they worked as a Research Student at the University of Regina, studying Brownian motion, random walks, and introductory Itô calculus in collaboration with Dr. Michael Kozdron in the Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science department. In 2019, they worked as a Data Entry Clerk for the Government of Saskatchewan, executing document discovery for a high profile lawsuit worth $100 million dollars. Brayden Tang has a Master's degree in Data Science from The University of British Columbia, obtained in 2020.
