Tom Fehring

Tom Fehring is currently a Data Scientist at Ledger Investing. Prior to joining Ledger, Tom worked as a Back-End Engineer & Data Scientist at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, where they worked on back-end infrastructure and data pipelines supporting the NASA Astrophysics Data System. Tom also spent time as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Allianz Life. During their time at Allianz, Tom built Bayesian statistical models to forecast the profitability of a wide range of casualty insurance portfolios. Tom also designed and built the company's stochastic financial model, which forecasts insurance-linked security cash flows and calculates risk and return metrics to inform investment decisions.

Tom Fehring's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
