Mary Macfarlane has a diverse work experience in the field of career and employability consulting. Mary started their career as an Undergraduate Recruitment Officer at Lancaster University in 2001. Mary then worked as a Postgraduate Training Officer at the University of Manchester, where they organized and promoted training and career events for postgraduate students. After that, they served as a Careers Consultant and Work Experience Project Officer at the University of Salford. Following this, they worked as a Medical Careers Consultant at BMA before joining York St John University as a Senior Careers Adviser.
