James Kelly started their work experience at Accenture in 1990 as a Consultant. James then went on to work at Lehman Brothers as an Associate from 1995 to 1997. After that, they joined Credit Suisse First Boston as a Vice President of Equity Research from 1997 to 2000. James then worked at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President of Global Investment Research from 2000 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Chief Operating Officer of Healthcare Research at Credit Suisse. From 2010 to 2015, they held the position of Associate Director of US Equity Research at Credit Suisse. James joined Leerink Partners in 2015 as an Associate Director of Research, and later they became the Director of Research in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Research at Leerink Partners.
James Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University from 1986 to 1990. James then pursued higher education and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Columbia Business School from 1993 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, James also obtained certifications in Series 7, 24, 63, 86, and 87 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
