Renato Varella

Renato Varella has a strong background in investment banking, with experience at several notable firms. Renato most recently served as a Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Leerink Partners starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President of Investment Banking at Nomura from April 2020 to February 2023. From April to November 2019, they worked as a Principal at Ondra Partners. Renato also gained experience at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they started as an Investment Banking Analyst in August 2012 and later became an Investment Banking Associate from July 2016 to April 2019. Renato also completed a summer internship as an Investment Banking Summer Associate at the same company in June-August 2015. Renato began their career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Deloitte in September 2011. Renato also worked as a Coordinator at Daquiprafora Intercambio e Turismo from October 2008 to October 2010.

Renato Varella's education history begins in 2004, when they attended Western New Mexico University. Renato studied Business Management and obtained their BBA degree in 2007. Following this, in 2012 and 2013, they pursued a Pós-Graduação (Post-Graduation) in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at Fundação Instituto de Administração - FIA. Varella then continued their education by enrolling at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
