Claudia Mendez

Claudia Mendez is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in behavioral health counseling. Currently serving as a Mental Health Counselor at Legacy Behavioral Health Center, Inc. since October 2021, Claudia has a strong foundation in working with diverse populations, particularly youth experiencing behavioral health challenges. Previous roles include positions at Center for Child Counseling, Inc. as an Infant Mental Health specialist and as a Child and Family Therapist at Legacy Behavioral Health Center. Claudia's expertise encompasses conducting bio-psychosocial interviews, facilitating evidence-based treatments for adolescents, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance family and youth well-being. Claudia holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University.
