Legacy Building Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. Legacy Building Solutions is an established and growing fabric building manufacturer located near St Cloud, MN. We manufacture tension fabric buildings using a rigid steel frame with a fabric outer membrane.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling staff.
Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decision.
Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities.
Manage the recruitment and selection process for all job vacancies.
Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation. and preservation of human capital.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Nurture a positive working environment.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
Collect and verify candidate information including scheduling pre-employment screenings, DOT’s.
Administer and process new hire paperwork and conduct all new hire orientations.
Assist with wellness programs, events, and other HR services.
Record performances, grievance, and disciplinary information.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee database and personnel files.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Conducts periodic audits to ensure all required documents are collected and filed.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization, meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties etc.
Preparation of various HR related reporting requirements
Develop and maintain department budget.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources
Associates degree (preferred)
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive experience.
People oriented and results driven with strong people skills, with an ability to foster healthy employee relations.
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Proficient use of O365 suite; strong IT knowledge
Strong leadership and problem resolution skills
Solid written and verbal communication
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR bet practices.
Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and ATS)
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
Maintain high level of confidentiality and discretion
Exceptional interpersonal skills, team player
