Suzanne Gilroy

Suzanne Gilroy, MSW, is an experienced medical social worker currently serving at Inova Health System since March 2023 and at Legacy Hospice since August 2022, where roles also include Volunteer Coordinator. Prior to these positions, Suzanne worked as a Medical Social Worker at Heartland Hospice from November 2020 to August 2022 and as a Social Work Case Manager at Vidant Medical Center from June 2018 to November 2020. Additional experience includes serving as Administrator for Raleigh Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources from March 2017 to November 2020 and as Director of Care Services at The NC ALS Association from February 2014 to November 2020, overseeing support programs and managing a team. Earlier roles include Senior Social Worker at The NC ALS Association-Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter and Case Manager at Urban Ministries of Raleigh. Suzanne holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from East Carolina University, completed between 2005 and 2007.
