Ag® Melissa Corn Finlay

Melissa Corn Finlay, AG® is a Research Associate at Legacy Tree Genealogists, Inc. since September 2020. Previously, Melissa served as an Online Adjunct Instructor at Brigham Young University - Idaho for a short term in late 2020 and worked as a Professional Genealogist at Boundless Genealogy from 2016 to September 2020, focusing on genealogical research, consultation, and coaching with specialties in the US Mid-South region, Native American, and African American genealogies. As a genealogy speaker and lecturer, Melissa has presented at notable events including Rootstech and various FamilySearch Library locations, covering topics on record types and advanced methodologies. Prior to these roles, Melissa held the position of Vice President and Genealogy Consultant at Yellow Fork Tech from 2015 to 2018, where responsibilities included marketing and designing two genealogy apps. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Family History - Genealogy from Brigham Young University (1996-2000) and completed an educational program at the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy in 2020.
