Colin McKay

Colin McKay started their work experience in 1986 as a Finance Lawyer at Biggart Baillie & Gifford. Colin then joined Freshfields in 1988 and worked there as a Finance Lawyer until 1993. From 1999 to 2008, they worked at McGrigor Donald/K Legal/KPMG as a Partner, Head of Infrastructure, and Board Member. Following that, they joined Eversheds in 2008 as a Partner, Banking & Finance / Lead LBG Partner, where they drove growth and profitability of the firm's largest UK client. In 2013, they moved to Shepherd and Wedderburn as a Partner, Banking & Finance. Between 2015 and 2021, they worked at ALMIS International Ltd as the Chief Commercial Officer. In 2021, they held the role of Senior Consultant at Vialex and Chairman at CU Apps. Currently, they are the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Legado (joinlegado.com) starting in December 2021.

Colin McKay attended the University of Glasgow from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a degree in Law. Colin completed the LLB DipLP program, focusing on the field of study in Law.
