Brandon Mason is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in economic development and juvenile law. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney for the Economic Development Unit at Legal Aid of Western Missouri since March 2018, Mason focuses on representing neighborhood associations and collaborating with various entities to enhance affordable housing and tenant rights. Additionally, Mason holds roles as a Visiting Clinical Professor and Adjunct Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, leading the Abandoned Properties Clinic. Prior experience includes representing the Missouri Children’s Division in juvenile court proceedings and a progression of legal roles including law clerk positions, as well as a background in business account management and retail management. Mason earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2016, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the same institution.
