Umme Habiba

Umme Habiba is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in family law. Currently serving as a Staff Lawyer at Legal Aid Ontario since March 2023, Umme’s previous roles include Barrister and Solicitor at Umme Habiba Law Office from May 2018 to March 2023, as well as positions as a Lawyer for various firms including Independent Contractor and The Law Offices of Marie G. Michaels. Notably, Umme held the role of Judge and Mediator in the civil, criminal, and family courts of Bangladesh for over a decade. Educational qualifications include a Law Practice Program from Ryerson University and a Certificate of Qualification from the National Accreditation Committee of Canada, alongside degrees in law from the University of Dhaka.
