Tammy Weinman Gaynor

Tammy Weinman Gaynor serves as the Director of Development and Communications at the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as the Organizational Advancement Manager at Troy Rehabilitation & Improvement Program, Inc. from June 2017 to July 2023, as well as participation in the Citizens Academy Class of 2022 with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in early 2022. Additionally, Tammy was involved with the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Institute Class of 2020. A dedicated professional in event coordination and alumni relations, Tammy held various roles at Albany Law School from August 2001 to June 2017, including Director of Alumni Relations and Institutional Events. Earlier experience includes working as an Events Coordinator at Capital Region Chamber from August 1995 to July 2001. Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the State University of New York College at Potsdam between 1988 and 1992, and completed secondary education at Albany High School from 1984 to 1988.
