Harshil Shah

Harshil Shah is currently a Legal Assistant at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, Inc., since May 2023. With previous experience as a Patent Intern at Esplin & Associates, PC, and as an Intern at the Law Office of Jennifer Thaete, PC, Harshil has gained significant knowledge in legal operations. As an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, leadership and teamwork skills were developed, along with experience in conducting ceremonies and mentoring younger scouts. Harshil also contributed to the High School Parliamentary Debate Team as a Varsity Member and Mentor, ranking 5th in the Nation for Parliamentary Debate while coaching novice teams. Additional mentoring experience includes work with the Fremont Debate Academy and leadership roles in local community outreach initiatives, such as Break the Outbreak. Academic pursuits include studying Bioengineering: Bioinformatics and Business Economics at UC San Diego, with educational foundations from Irvington High School, De Anza College, and National University Virtual High School.
