Muziwandile Nhlapo has extensive work experience in the legal field. Muziwandile started their career in 2002 as a Public Prosecutor at the National Prosecuting Authority, where they worked until 2006. Muziwandile then joined Legal Aid South Africa as a Legal Practitioner from August 2006 to June 2011. Later, in June 2011, they were promoted to the role of Legal Manager at the same company, where they stayed until October 2017. In November 2017, Muziwandile became a Provincial Supervisory Legal Practitioner at Legal Aid South Africa. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Office-Legal Aid SA-Botshabelo, which they have been serving since October 2019.
Muziwandile Nhlapo attended the University of the Free State from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they pursued a degree in Law, earning a Bproc and LLB.
