Jason Becker has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of US Credit Strategy at LGIM America since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Quantitative Credit Strategist at the same company from April 2019 to February 2023. In 2018, they were an intern at Fund3 where they developed volatility forecasting models and trade execution strategies for cryptoassets. Jason also created real-time updated databases for cryptoassets. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher/ NDSEG Fellow at UC Berkeley. Jason Becker completed their education in a chronological order. Jason first attended Purdue University from 2012 to 2016 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Following this, from 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley College of Engineering. Later on, from 2018 to 2019, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Financial Engineering degree in the field of Quantitative Finance. In addition to their formal education, Jason Becker also earned several certifications. Jason obtained certifications in various subjects including deep learning, machine learning, C++, econometrics, and programming languages from different institutions like Coursera, Udacity, and various universities.
