Ryan Koessel

Ryan Koessel has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ryan began their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Ryan then joined Steelcase, where they held various positions such as Sr. Financial Analyst, Sr. Business Analyst, and Finance Manager. In 2022, they briefly served as the CFO at Lyffe International before joining Leggett & Platt as a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Global Finance & Accounting in the Work Furniture Business Unit at Leggett & Platt.

Ryan Koessel has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting with an emphasis in audit from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business from 2006 to 2007. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting from the same institution, which they earned from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Ryan has obtained various certifications including Leadership Bronze Level from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2020, the IMA Leadership Academy (IMALA) Pewter Level in 2019, and the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 2017.
