Jenny Byford

Jenny Byford is an experienced professional with a strong background in health advocacy and public policy. Currently serving as a Researcher for Parliamentary Committees at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia since April 2021, Jenny previously held various positions at the Canadian Cancer Society from May 2007 to September 2020, including Advocacy Lead for BC and Yukon and Coordinator of Health Promotion. Jenny’s expertise encompasses evidence synthesis, policy analysis, and health promotion initiatives aimed at addressing health inequities and cancer prevention. Additional experience includes managing communications for local non-profit events and organizing community forums, complemented by a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Public Health from The University of Lethbridge.
