Philip Bell began their career in 2012 as an IT Technician for Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd as part of a school work experience scheme. In 2013, they worked as a Technician for GreenGeeks where they learned various methods of repairing computers and developed their people skills. In 2014, they worked as a Programmer for Bad Gateway, where they created software for a fictitious company. In 2016, they worked as a Database Manager for FDM Group, creating software to provide graphical display of big data sets. Philip also worked as a Data Analyst/Software Developer for EBI Solutions Limited during the same year. In 2017, they worked as a Software Developer for CityFibre, developing internal and external web apps, tools, and APIs. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Backend Software Engineer for Legl, working with Django and DRF to create backend and APIs for their suite of legal and payments software. Philip also worked as a Software Engineer for CrowdJustice.

Philip Bell attended Mython School from 2007 to 2014, where they achieved A Levels in Computing, Maths, and Geography. Philip then attended Coventry University from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science.
