Mahboubeh Boueshagh

Mahboubeh (Moon) Boueshagh is a PhD candidate in Earth and Environmental Sciences at Lehigh University, contributing to research in the Remote Sensing Lab focused on snowpack and wildfire analysis in the Western US through geospatial analysis and machine learning. Boueshagh has held roles such as PhD Graduate Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant, receiving prestigious university fellowship recognition. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineering Intern at SoCalGas within the Emission Strategies Program and working as a Surveying Engineer and Remote Sensing Research Intern at Abanrood Tadbir Engineering Co., where significant contributions included generating flood area maps. Boueshagh's academic foundation encompasses a Master of Science in Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Geospatial Engineering from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Surveying Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (Arak Branch).
