Mircea Trifan

Mircea Trifan is a Senior Software Engineer at mgestyk since December 2011, focusing on collaborative real-time software development. As a PhD candidate and Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa since March 2009, Mircea developed a tweet ranking algorithm and implemented various software interfaces and GUIs. Previous roles include software engineering positions at MapleWorks, Omnitrol Networks, and Artis, where Mircea contributed to systems for RFID tagging and large-scale information extraction. Additional experience includes work at Nortel Networks, CCRS, University of Ottawa, and ALCATEL Network Systems, with a focus on telecommunications software development and network management systems. Mircea holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in Computer Software Engineering from Politehnica University of Timisoara.
