Bill Downey has a diverse work experience in the field of hockey. Bill currently works as the Assistant Coach and Director of Hockey Operations at Lehigh Valley Phantoms since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Hockey Operations at the same company from August 2016 to September 2021.

Before joining Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Bill worked as the Director of Hockey Operations at Penn State University from July 2011 to August 2016. Bill also held the same position at Harvard University from September 2010 to July 2011.
