Helmer Martinez

Helmer Martinez has significant experience in project management and engineering roles. Helmer worked as a Senior Project Manager at Lehrer Cumming from December 2018 to present, overseeing a renovation and expansion project at Barnard College. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager at STV from April 2016 to December 2018, managing capital projects for NYU Langone Health Real Estate Development and Facilities. From June 2013 to April 2016, Helmer worked as an Assistant Director of Engineering at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, responsible for day-to-day operations, projects, and renovations of a five-star hotel. Helmer also held the position of Engineering Supervisor at the same company from March 2007 to September 2011, where they supervised a team of engineers and ensured maintenance practices were followed.

Helmer Martinez earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from SUNY Westchester Community College in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they attended Manhattan College, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
