Christopher Vega, PhD, MBA has an extensive work experience starting from 1992 and continuing till the present. Christopher has held various leadership positions in different organizations. Currently, they are serving as the Director Global Commercial Analytics at Leica Microsystems. Their responsibilities include leading a team that transforms diverse data sources into value-added analyses, as well as serving as a data steward for CRM, quoting, and customer master in ERP. Before this role, they worked as the Director of Commercial Analytics and Marketing Operations at the same company. Prior to joining Leica Microsystems, Christopher worked as the Director of Marketing - Americas and Sr. Manager Marketing at Leica Microsystems. Christopher also served as a Product Manager at Leica Microsystems, focusing on Confocal Microscopy. Christopher Vega has an extensive education history. Christopher first received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Chemistry from Walsh University in 1994. Following this, they obtained a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science between 1994 and 2002. In 2016, Christopher completed the CORe Credential of Readiness program, which covered Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting, at Harvard Business School Online.
