Kerstin Bathon

Kerstin Bathon serves as the Services Operational Excellence Manager at Leica Microsystems since October 2020, following a tenure as Customer Solutions Manager at QIAGEN from May 2019 to October 2020. Prior to these roles, Kerstin was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg from June 2014 to December 2018, supported by the German Excellence Initiative at the Graduate School of Life Sciences. During this period, Kerstin was also a doctoral researcher, completing a thesis on the implications of mutations in protein kinase A catalytic subunits related to adrenal Cushing's syndrome. Academic credentials include a Dr.rer.nat. degree from Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
