Varun Rao

Varun Rao has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and technology. Varun started their career at Captronic Systems Pvt Ltd as an Associate Engineer in the System Engineering Group, where they gained experience in industrial automation projects and developed projects using LabView. Varun then moved on to Graphene Semiconductor Services Pvt Ltd, where they worked as a Member of Technical Staff and developed Windows device drivers for storage devices, honing their skills in object-oriented programming. Later, they joined LG Soft India as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on mobile camera technology, image processing, and Android app development. Currently, Varun is working at Leica Microsystems as a Lead Software Engineer, contributing to software and algorithm development for surgical microscopes, with a particular focus on C++ programming, GPU/CUDA programming, and image processing.

Varun Rao obtained their Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra between 2014 and 2016.
