Mike Tanner

Mike Tanner has a strong background in radio news and journalism. Mike started their career in 1998 at WDAY Radio, where they served as the Radio News Director for over 10 years. In this role, they managed all aspects of the news department, coordinated news coverage with media partners, and produced special newsworthy programming.

In 2009, Mike joined Three Eagles Communications as the Radio News Director and Talk Show Host. Mike was responsible for the local and regional news content for a group of six stations. Mike also hosted a morning talk show called "What's Up" and managed news content on the station's website.

In 2012, Mike moved to Leighton Broadcasting as the Radio News Director. Mike developed local and regional news content for a group of four stations and managed news content on social media platforms and the station website. Mike also wrote, produced, and anchored morning and midday newscasts, as well as managed the scheduling and assignments for a four-person news team.
