Giulia Hjort is a producer at Lemonada Media. Giulia was previously a Queens Borough Public Library from June 2020 to August 2020 where they interviewed Queens residents for a community archiving project that collected oral histories from the COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with the Queens Public Library and Queens College. Giulia also produced original segments for a 10-part podcast hosted, produced, and edited by Queens Memory. Giulia was also a video fellow at Insider Inc. from January 2020 to August 2020 where they produced, scripted, voiced, and edited footage for videos across lifestyle verticals for distribution on YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat. Giulia also adapted original scripts, archived footage, and long-form videos to short-form. Giulia was also an audio editor + translator at Wondery from December 2019 to April 2020. Giulia was also a KUT/KUTX Fellow at KUT Public Media from June 2019 to August 2019. Lastly, they were a journalism & press freedom intern at PEN America from January 2018 to May 2018.

Giulia Hjort went to the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY for their Bachelor of Arts in International Relations. Giulia also studied at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad and the Universidad Diego Portales.
