Plinio Esmerio

Plinio Esmerio has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Plinio currently holds the position of CTO at Lemoney Way and Opencashback, starting in 2022. Prior to that, Plinio worked at Facily from 2021 to 2022, where they served as the Director of Technology and Head of Tech Products. In this role, they were responsible for connecting needs with engineering solutions, organizing priorities, and solving problems. Before Facily, Plinio held the position of Software Engineering Executive Manager at Via from 2020 to 2021, overseeing over 30 squads and handling the customer journey for three major stores in Brazil. Plinio then joined Dafiti as the Head of Engineering LatAm in 2020, before transitioning to the role of Agile Developer Manager LatAm from 2018 to 2020. Plinio's earlier experience includes working as a Tech Lead at 99 from 2017 to 2018 and various roles at UOL from 2008 to 2017, including Development Coordinator, Senior System Analyst, System Analyst, and Junior System Analyst. During their time at UOL, they were involved in project support, system development, and architecture.

Plinio Esmerio completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2006. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued further education at the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, obtaining a degree in Gestão de TI (Management of IT) with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
